This course covers Articles 1, 3, 4 and 17. *Real Estate Scams, Cons and Swindles. New scams are surfacing every day and they're getting more creative and harder to spot than ever. This course delves into the modern methods criminals are using to defraud buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants and even real estate professionals. In addition to wire fraud, seller impersonation, buyer impersonation, tenant impersonation, listing and rental scams and title fraud, it looks into how AI is being used to create "deepfake" scams against all parties that could be involved in real estate transactions using such easily available programs as "Chat GPT". |
